Anne-Marie Turvey

Anne-Marie started her Pilates journey in 2011, when she joined Jean’s mat class and was immediately captivated.  She soon realised that at the end of each and every class she felt not only stronger, leaner and fitter, but also calmer and more able to cope with the demands of young family.

Intrigued by the transformative lightness and clarity of her own movement she decided to deepen her understanding and train as a Body Control Pilates teacher.

Anne-Marie is passionate that Pilates should be for everybody and believes it will enhance anybody’s physical and mental wellbeing as it has her own.

Polly Welsh

Polly’s passion for Pilates began 17 years ago in Australia where Pilates is used to support active lifestyles. She used Pilates through two pregnancies to maintain strength, and as a conditioning tool for enhancing swimming, cycling and running challenges.

Having practiced for many years, Polly then qualified with the esteemed rigour of Body Control Pilates and has added further qualifications, including Pilates for Pregnancy to her repertoire of skills. Polly has a background in Biology and loves to apply her knowledge of anatomy and physiology in class.

Polly teaches mat and springboard Pilates and especially loves to see clients improve their physical health and understanding of their bodies, and have fun while doing so.
