Anne-Marie Turvey

Anne-Marie started her Pilates journey in 2011, when she joined Jean’s mat class and was immediately captivated.  She soon realised that at the end of each and every class she felt not only stronger, leaner and fitter, but also calmer and more able to cope with the demands of young family.

Intrigued by the transformative lightness and clarity of her own movement she decided to deepen her understanding and train as a Body Control Pilates teacher. In addition she is also qualified to teach Springboard and Bone Health.

Anne-Marie is passionate that Pilates should be for everybody and believes it will enhance anybody’s physical and mental wellbeing as it has her own.

Claire qualified as a Pilates Instructor in 2014, prior to which she worked in online communications and in travel sales and marketing. Having practised ballet as a child and Pilates as an adult, she decided to turn doing what she loves into a career!

Since qualifying, Claire has continued her professional development. She has added qualifications in pre and post natal Pilates, older adults, special conditions, small equipment and the Springboard. Claire also runs Pilates retreats in rural France.

Claire loves being a Pilates teacher because she loves to help people to move better and to feel better. She enjoys the interaction with her clients in a group or 1-1 setting, and she loves the flexibility (excuse the pun!) of her job.

Polly Welsh

Polly’s passion for Pilates began 17 years ago in Australia where Pilates is used to support active lifestyles. She used Pilates through two pregnancies to maintain strength, and as a conditioning tool for enhancing swimming, cycling and running challenges.

Having practiced for many years, Polly then qualified with the esteemed rigour of Body Control Pilates and has added further qualifications, including Pilates for Pregnancy to her repertoire of skills. Polly has a background in Biology and loves to apply her knowledge of anatomy and physiology in class.

Polly teaches mat and springboard Pilates and especially loves to see clients improve their physical health and understanding of their bodies, and have fun while doing so.
